ShipHound
Terms of Use
These terms are the deal between you and ShipHound, operated by [legal entity] (“we”). By downloading or using ShipHound, you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the app.
What ShipHound does
ShipHound uses Apple’s Screen Time to keep apps you choose locked during your ship hours and while a ship session is running. It opens them when you ship one task that grows your app and prove it with a screenshot, judged by an automated AI judge. It also suggests ships. It is a tool. You set it up, you can change it, and you can turn off Screen Time access for it in iOS Settings at any time.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13, and either old enough to enter a contract where you live or using ShipHound with a parent’s permission. Install it only on a phone you own or control. ShipHound is for locking your own apps, not someone else’s.
Subscriptions
ShipHound is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store, with a free trial where offered. Prices are shown in the app before you subscribe. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms. If ShipHound is sold on Google Play, the same applies through Google.
The judge and the coach are automated
Verdicts, proof checks, and suggestions are generated by an AI model. They can be wrong. They are not professional or business advice. You decide what to build and ship, and you are responsible for it. We do not promise that using ShipHound will grow your app, your revenue, or anything else.
Your content
You keep everything you type or submit. You give us permission to process it, including sending it to our AI provider, only to run the judge and the coach. Do not submit anything illegal or anything you have no right to share. We may fail any proof at our discretion.
Fair use
Do not abuse the service. No scraping or flooding our server, no reverse-engineering the judge, and no using ShipHound to break a law or anyone’s rights. We can suspend access to the judge for abuse.
No warranty
ShipHound is provided as is. Locking depends on Apple’s Screen Time APIs, iOS, your settings, and your network, none of which we control. Locks can fail to apply, apply late, or lift early. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of ShipHound. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Ending things
You can stop using ShipHound at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to support or maintain the app and is not responsible for any claim relating to it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when. Continuing to use ShipHound after a change means you accept it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [state or country], and disputes go to the courts there, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
